The Pod is our weekly youth group for those in school years 9-13. We meet on a Wednesday at Winchester Baptist Church from 7.30 until 9.30pm. Pod stands for “Place of Discipleship” where we aim to provide a fun, safe place for young people to not only be discipled, but also to be inspired to be disciples too. It’s a place where we can explore our journey in faith and become passionate followers of Jesus.

We do this through a varied programme, including small groups, socials, residentials and worship events.

Food is a key part of our youth group, as well as hot chocolate mountains. So come and join us!

The POD+

The Pod+ meets during the service on Sunday mornings. Aimed for school years 7 to 11. We spend time together looking at what it means to be like Jesus and to follow Him in a way that we can relate to today.

We have an excellent team of leaders, who run different sessions each week, and provide a variety of (more) delicious snacks!

The Pod+ provides a space where we can come and explore our faith amongst others, interact within smalls groups, and play many icebreaker games.

We often serve teas and coffees as a youth group after the morning service. We see this as an important way to serve the rest of the church and be a part of the wider congregation.

Wildfire is part of the Burn 24/7 Winchester, and is a youth group run by an amazing team of Christian Youth Workers from churches across Winchester. Wildfire is aimed for all young people in school years 7 to 13 to come and encounter God, whether or not they belong to a church youth group or have an active faith.

All Youth Workers and Team Helpers are DBS checked and pastorally supported by their commissioning Church.

Activities range from termly Youth Worship nights to barbecues, ice-skating and games nights.
