Welcome & Inquiries

Our Vision at Winchester Baptist Church Youth is to engage with young people, giving them a safe space to explore their beliefs and guide them to be the best version of themselves.

This will be supported by encouraging them within the local schools, and building relationships with them within a Christian environment.

For all youth inquiries, please contact Eleanor.

Winbap youth

School Years 7 – 11

Meets Sundays (during term time)

During the 10am service

Winbap Youth is part of our Sunday morning service. We meet as part of the congregation at 10am, then after about 20 minutes head out to the youth room. We often, but not always, follow the same theme as the church in an interactive style, and have plenty of time to enjoy a game and some food.

WILDFIRE

Wildfire is an organisation bringing the different church youth groups across Winchester together, giving young people an opportunity to meet with one another and encounter God. They gather together resources and talents to run events such as socials, worship evenings and retreats for young people.

For more information, click here or find Wildfire on Instagram and Facebook.

Schools work

Winchester Baptist Church has links with some of Winchester’s secondary schools. We help to run various programmes and courses throughout the schools.

This includes a course to explore self-esteem, relationships, media and aspirations. This course is run by members of the Wildfire team in partnership with the Golddigger Trust.

We also help to run other courses and groups to encourage young people through 1-2-1s or group support.

Young People are safe at WBC.

We value the importance of security and safety and are committed to the safeguarding of all the young people in our care. All our leaders and helpers are DBS checked, and we have two designated Safeguarding Officers. Any concerns or issues, please contact us immediately.
