Never been to Winchester Baptist Church (or maybe any church) before? We’d love to welcome you to one of our Sunday services. If you’re worried about what it will be like – here’s everything you need to know …
Come join us on Sunday from 10am. If you are unable to join in person you can access our livestream on Youtube.
But here’s what happens when we normally meet together …
What to expect
Our Sunday services start at 10.00am and last about 90 minutes. Informal in style, you can enjoy a time of contemporary worship and the preaching of God’s Word in a way that is relevant to life today. Whether you are a long-time Christian or just looking into the Christian faith you are sure to find something helpful in what we have to say.
Who else will be there?
Expect a welcoming atmosphere with friendly people from all backgrounds and ages.
What should I wear?
Wear what you want! There is no dress code at our church – come smart or casual and you’ll fit right in.
Contemporary worship
Typically our services start with live contemporary worship led by one of our bands. Don’t worry if you don’t know the songs – they’re easy to pick up and you don’t have to sing if you don’t want to!
Great children and youth programmes
Normally at our Sunday morning services the children and young youth leave for their activities after about 20 minutes. We provide a crèche, kids church and youth programmes during the service for children up to Year 11 and young people are welcome to join one of the groups even if just visiting.
